इतिहासः नेपालकै एक आदिवासी जनजाति वर्ग रानाथारु जातिको वसोवास रहेको यस वस्तीलाई परासिन नामाकरणबाट चिनिन्थ्यो भने साविक रुपमा हाल वसोवास गरेको क्षेत्रभन्दा उत्तर पूर्वमा भारतको दुधवा नेशनल पार्कदेखि पश्चिममा रहेको दोदा नदी किनारको वारीपट्टी रहेको थियो । भने पछि गएर उक्त दोँदा नदीको बाढीले वसोवास गर्न कठिन भइ तत्कालिन पुनर्वास कम्पनी लि. बाट हाल वसोवास गरेको ठाउँमा व्यवस्थित गरिएको कुरा यहाँका समाजसेवी, वयोबृद्ध तथा शिक्षाप्रेमीहरुबाट थाहा हुन्छ । उक्त पुरानो वस्तीमा यस क्षेत्रकै सबैभन्दा पुरानो विद्यालय श्री वगिश्वरी नि.मा.वि. खुलेको कुरा पनि बुझिनमा आउँछ भने वस्ती सर्ने क्रम सँगसँगै सो विद्यालय पनि त्याहाँबाट सरेर हालको पुनर्वास न.पा. ८, पृथ्वीवस्तीमा सर्न गएको थियो ।

History:
According to local community elders, social workers, and education enthusiasts, this settlement—predominantly inhabited by the indigenous Rana Tharu community—was originally known as Parasin. Historically, the settlement was located east of India's Dudhwa National Park and on this side of the banks of the Doda River, which lies to the west. Later, due to severe floods from the Doda River making settlement difficult, the residents were systematically resettled to the current location by the then Punarwas Company Ltd.
