This school is located near the severely flood-affected area of the Donda River, approximately 75 km southeast of Mahendranagar, the headquarters of Kanchanpur, and about 500 meters west of India's Dudhwa National Park. To the north of the school lies Udari Village (Punarwas-5), while Prithvibasti is to the south. Similarly, Shree Balbagishwari Secondary School of Buddhabasti is situated to the west. Currently, the school has a total of 6 government-subsidized positions, comprising 1 primary approved permanent teacher quota, 1 early childhood development quota, 3 primary relief teacher quotas, and 1 office assistant quota. Classes from Early Childhood Development (infant class) up to Grade 5 are being conducted here. Children coming to study are primarily from Parasan Village—a settlement predominantly inhabited by indigenous/ethnic communities located in Punarwas Municipality Ward No. 7—while the location is also convenient for children from Udari Village (Punarwas Municipality Ward No. 5), Buddhabasti, and Chaudhary Tol situated in the southern part of Punarwas Municipality Ward No. 7. Within the school's service area, there are over 250 households with a population of roughly 1,500 to 1,700, consisting of 53% females and 47% males.
There are around 500 school-aged children, and the majority of the people in the service area are engaged in agriculture. Some youth are selling their labor in third countries and India, while instances of school dropouts, early marriages, and youth engaging in daily wage labor are found here. Furthermore, some school dropouts have fallen into bad habits like drug addiction, which leads to a predominance of illiterate citizens and uneducated classes. Although indigenous and ethnic groups are in the majority in this village, there is only a single Newar family. Likewise, there are a few Chaudhary households. Most people live below the poverty line. Predominantly Rana Tharu speakers reside here, alongside one Newari-speaking family and people who speak Chaudhary Tharu. The level of social awareness is slowly crawling forward, and changes in the people of this community compared to the past are certainly present.
